Danielle Lefrancois is a Canadian nature photographer based in the
beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains in Canmore, Alberta.

As a kid I have fond memories of road tripping around Southern Ontario and spending my summers in the Ontario wilderness. Climbing the Niagara Escarpment, exploring caves, canoeing rivers and wading through streams catching crayfish. Being in nature has always felt like a home.

It was high school where I discovered photography as an art form. Not only was it a means of documenting family events but it was a way to steal moments of nature that were just too beautiful to view only once. My creativity finally had an outlet.

After 25 years living in the beautiful Niagara region just 20 minutes from the world-famous falls, I decided I needed more room to explore and moved to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It has turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life and I am happy to be able to get back to my childhood love of road trips by filling my spare time with adventures around one of Canada's most celebrated and spectacular landscapes.
